Members of Tri Star's Precision Machining Advisory Board, local manufacturing company representatives, Tri Star administrators and teachers, including Tri Star Precision Machining teacher, Rob Menker, met recently to discuss the purchase of new equipment for the Precision Machining program. The program received a generous donation from JobsOhio with the help of Nidec Minster. The money is to be used to update and replace older equipment. Working with local industry is a vital component to providing the best education possible for Tri Star students and supplying local companies with a skilled labor force.
Attendees included (pictured left to right) Bob Prater of Omni Manufacturing; Jim Sudhoff of Crown Equipment; Greg Homan of Pax Machine; Dave Jaros from Nidec Minster Machine; Brian Styer of Nidec Minster; Randy Kunk of Coldwater Machine; and Don Berry, Tri Star CBI teacher.
