Marketing and Distributive Education

Marketing and Distributive Education, is a two-year program for students interested in marketing and product or service distribution careers.  The junior level is spent in the classroom.  In the senior year, students spend 5 periods per week in a classroom and at least 12 hours per week at a work site.  The skills students learn include but are not limited to:

•  Marketing
•  Advertising
•  Displaying
•  Merchandising
•  Selling
•  Job search and retention

All marketing students participate in the DECA club which is active on the local, district, state and national levels.

This class is offered at St. Marys High School.
