Each year, Tri Star senior construction students get a unique opportunity for a real hands-on education when they build a single-family home from foundation to finish. The junior construction class contributes labor and talent to the project as well. All students learn a wide variety of construction related skills, including basic rough and finish carpentry, electrical, and plumbing, painting, flooring and more. They train both through the construction of the home as well as in the construction classroom. The result is a beautiful ranch home that anyone buy. Once the home is completed, it is sold to the public by auction.
Tri Star will host several OPEN HOUSES for the public to view the Tri Star house. Open House dates are as follows:
Friday, May 16th- 5:00-6:30 p.m.
Sunday, May 18- 12:30-2:00 p.m.
Friday, May 23- 5:00-6:00 p.m.
This year, the 2025 Tri Star house is being built in the Wheatlands Subdivision, Celina, OH at 1240 Brittany Dr. The house will be sold at a
public auction on Thursday, June 5th at 7:00 p.m.

The ‘Tri Star’ house is built by Tri Star’s senior construction students with the help of the junior class. Parts of the house project have also been completed by local subcontractors due to the expertise needed for that particular skill.
