This week, sophomores from nine area high schools visit Tri Star programs to find out what it's really like to be a student in a Tri Star program. Sophomores select a program of their choice to visit and then work alongside current Tri Star students discovering the everyday hands-on projects and technologies used in that program. Tri Star teachers are excited to show sophomores the skills they can learn in their Tri Star program and how that will lead to a great career. The visit is designed to help sophomores make a good decision about whether a Tri Star program is right for them. Students from Coldwater, Fort Recovery and St. Henry visited Tuesday. Celina, Minster, New Bremen and New Knoxville students visit on Wednesday and St. Marys and Marion Local sophomores visit Thursday.
Sophomores need to complete a Tri Star application to be considered for enrollment into a program. Applications can be found on the Tri Star website here, picked up at the Tri Star office or from their guidance counselor. Any student or parent with questions is encouraged to call the Tri Star Office at 419-586-7060.
