Memorial High School/Tri Star’s DECA members were recognized at the Ohio DECA Career Development Conference over the weekend.
Aaron Alexander received First Place in Community Service Project. Heidi Lisi, DECA advisor, explained, “This is a project that requires 100% member involvement in the activities leading up to the conference. Aaron was responsible for writing the paper and making the presentation at the conference. This is a very tough event so we are very excited with the results!”

Sara Little – Fourth Place in Growing Your Business
Lexi Sell and Courtney Helmlinger – Top 10 finalists in Buying and Merchandising Team
Nathan Wilker – Top 10 finalist in Personal Financial Literacy
Colin Grothuase – Top 10 finalist in Financial Consulting
Skylar Hennon, Courtney Helmlinger, and Lexi Sell – Gold Level winner in School Based Enterprise
and Quincy Rable and Katia Martinez were the DECA Promotional Campaign winners.
Eight students will move on to compete at the International Career Development Conference in Nashville, Tennessee April 23-26.
