Tri Star’s REC Tech (Robotic, Electronic and Computer Technologies), program has a new articulation agreement with the University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH). The agreement will give REC Tech students the opportunity to earn free college credit, if they prove they are proficient in the areas of Robotics [RA110] Automation Mechanical and [RA120] Automation Electrical.
As with any articulation agreement, students must meet specific criteria to be granted the credit and the awarded credit will only be reflected on the student’s transcript after they have completed their first term at UNOH. Students that meet the required criteria for both courses* could earn up to 12 credit hours on their UNOH transcript toward their degree and realize a savings of approximately $2500. The amount of articulated credit a student will be granted will be determined by UNOH on an individual basis.
