Auglaize County Commissioners, Don Regula, Douglas A. Spencer, and John N. Bergman recently presented a group of Tri Star students with an official proclamation in recognition of Career Technical Education Month. The brief ceremony took place at Tri Star’s Dennings Building in St. Marys. Commissioner Spencer spoke a few words in support of career technical education as he presented the proclamation to students from the Engineering Tech., Welding, Precision Machining, REC Tech and Med Prep programs. The three commissioners then took a brief tour of the Dennings Building classrooms. The month of February was designated Career Technical Education month by The Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) to help promote and recognize the value of career technical education in our communities. The proclamation, similar to that provided by the Mercer County Commissioners was put on display at the Dennings Building.
