A great way to learn a skill is with the help of a professional. Several area health care professionals volunteered their time to assist Med Prep instructors, Brenda Speck and Annette Albers, in teaching CPR to the juniors and seniors. Med Prep Juniors completed the American Heart Association Heart Saver course which includes adult, child and infant CPR while seniors worked through the Basic Life Support course learning adult and infant CPR. In all, 50 students earned certifications in CPR.
The professionals who volunteered their time included Janet Nelson, Karen Imwalle, Ann Timmerman, Jean Kaiser, Maria Kaufman, and Kathy Pleiman. A big thank you goes out to these professionals for the hours they spent training and working with our future professions and congratulations to the Med Prep students who earned CPR certifications!
