Med Prep Students Help Make Tri Star's First Blood Drive A Success
Tri Star held it's first blood drive Monday, Oct. 12th in the student commons. The drive was considered successful as all of the time slots open for donation were filled for the day.
Tri Star's Med Prep seniors helped keep the drive running smoothly. The student volunteers greeted donors, took temperatures, and completed preliminary paperwork preparing donors for the American Red Cross workers. It was great hands-on experience for the students.
Thanks to all the student volunteers, Red Cross workers, and donors! We appreciate your help and support.
The blood drive was covered by the TV media Your News Now/Hometown Stations out of Lima. Click here to view the video.
If you missed this drive, please sign up for the next one on Dec. 30th from 12:00 pm-5:00 pm. To be a blood donor, please call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) OR visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter: tristarcelina
