It's career technical education month and Tri Star Career Compact is celebrating !!!
Career Technical Education (CTE) provides students of all ages with the academic and technical skills, knowledge and training necessary to succeed in future careers and we believe that's worth celebrating. In 2021, Tri Star will mark its 38th year of providing career technical education and services to our nine feeder high schools and their communities: Celina, Coldwater, Fort Recovery, Marion Local, Minster, New Bremen, New Knoxville, St. Henry, and St. Marys.
We celebrate you, our community and business supporters. You’ve helped us create a state-of-the-art facility that is used by both high school and adult students as well as community organizations and businesses. We appreciate those businesses who have hired our students and helped them become productive, contributing citizens.
The Tri Star staff is important and worth celebrating too. We thank them for their dedication to providing top-notch training, and for caring for the students they educate. Tri Star's staff and administration have worked hard over those 38 years and we are grateful for their dedication.
We're excited and thankful for our current students. They put forth the effort to learn and practice valuable, new skills every day. We’re grateful they have chosen a career technical education at Tri Star. We're also looking forward to the new crop of junior students that will be joining the Tri Star family next fall. We can't wait to see what great things you will do: start your own business, appear on Shark Tank, become heroes.
We are proud of our Tri Star graduates and the many successes they have had. These students have made an important impact in our communities and have helped to make Mercer and Auglaize Counties a great place to live and work.
The Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) designated February as a time to celebrate and raise awareness of career technical education.
