Early Childhood Education students Lydia Dippold and Haley Kuess are currently working on a Chapter Service Project for their upcoming FCCLA competition. The pair decided they wanted to provide comfort to families going through cancer treatment at the James Cancer Research Hospital in Columbus, Ohio by making tie-together fleece blankets. The project was inspired by Dippold's own experience when her father spent time at the James for cancer treatment. Working together, the Early Childhood Education and Med Prep classes made 100 tie-together fleece blankets and raised funds to purchase Starbucks gift cards which they included with each blanket.
