Tri Star was awash with second graders and their parents Thursday night for a fall scavenger hunt. Twenty-four students enjoyed a craft in which they stuffed fiber fill in an adorable Bigfoot toy named 'Stomp' in the "Build-A-Bear fashion. Following the craft portion the second graders had to match clues to Tri Star programs and color in that program on scarecrow color page. After completing the scarecrow, parents and students explored each Tri Star classroom and picked up a goodie related to that specific program. All second graders went home with a back pack full of treasures and a Tri Star t-shirt while parents received a goodie bag of their own. According to those in attendance, a great time was had by all! The next Scavenger Hunt event will be held in February.
