Tri Star Career Compact celebrated its outstanding students and educational partners at their annual awards banquet Monday evening April 14th at Romer’s in Celina. (Photos at the end of this post or by clicking on student's name.) (View the banquet program here.)
Outstanding juniors and seniors representing 16 different programs were chosen by their instructor for their academic achievements, dependability, leadership, academic excellence, maturity, growth in their program, participation in student organizations, volunteerism, work ethic, professionalism, and character. Tri Star instructors could nominate up to two students from their junior and senior classes.
Community partners honored this year were from Coldwater, OH: Forty Nine Degrees and ITR (Ideas Turned Real) Manufacturing. Both companies have been strong supporters of Tri Star and its students over the years.
Forty Nine Degrees designed and installed the interior wall graphics of the new Tri Star facility and sponsored the graphics classroom. They have provided tours of their facility, early job placement and internship opportunities, and independent contracts to Tri Star students.
ITR has generously provided the closet shelving and pantry organization solutions for the Tri Star houses built each year. They have taught Tri Star students how to build and install their products and have also hired Tri Star students. Many thanks to both companies.
The following students were presented a certificate of recognition and rewarded with an Amazon gift card for being selected as an outstanding student.
