Juniors in the construction program got real world experience in concrete work by pouring a slab for Tri Star's automotive storage yard. The storage yard is an outdoor area used to store vehicles used by the automotive technology program. The construction students poured 31 yards of concrete to create a slab for about one-third of the yard.
Tri Star would like to thank St. Henry Tile for donating the concrete and to Stachler Concrete who donated a pumper truck for use during the pour. This is a great way to learn hands-on!
