Incoming Juniors (including Senior Law & Public Safety Students)

We will hold our New Student Orientation on Monday, August 24, 2026.

To ensure everyone has adequate space and time with instructors, please attend only during your program's specific time slot. Meetings will begin PROMPTLY at the times listed below:

6:00 pm: Ag Industrial Technologies, Animal Health, Automotive Technology, Career Pathways, Construction, Engineering Technology and Law & Public Safety (juniors and seniors).

6:30 pm: Graphic Communications, IT Cybersecurity, Manufacturing & Machining, Med Prep, Robotics & Automation, Teaching Professions and Welding.

A parent or guardian is highly encouraged to attend the meeting with the student. Orientation provides a great opportunity to meet your instructor, see your lab, and ask any questions you may have. Additionally, all program fees are payable by cash or check at this time. Fees can be paid at the office either before your scheduled orientation session or immediately following your meeting with the instructors. To avoid waiting to pay fees that evening, you can stop by the Tri Star office August 11th-14th or August 17th -20th anytime from

8 am-2 pm to pay fees. Please also note that parents/students must fill out the required beginning-of-the-year forms using Final Forms online; instructions for this process are on the backside of this letter.

The first day of school for students is Wednesday, August 26th. Morning lab begins at 7:30 am (7:28-must be in the building) and afternoon lab begins at 11:45 am (11:43-must be in the building). If you have questions regarding bus transportation, please contact your local school district, as they provide all transportation for students coming to Tri Star.
