Mercer County's K-9 officers, Deputy Patrick Forsthoefel and Ossi, his German shepherd partner, gave a demonstration for Tri Star students Thursday afternoon. The animal health class invited the K-9 Unit to come to the campus to show students just what they do. Officer Forsthoefel explained how the pair operate and work as a team while Ossi demonstrated that work sniffing out a hidden object and chasing down and biting a "suspect". The suspect was Animal Health instructor Mike Seibert. Students from several classes came out to watch the demo and ask questions. Thanks to the Mercer Co. Sheriff's office. Nice job officers!
