Six students from Tri Star Career Compact’s engineering technology program have been awarded a $1,500 Haas Foundation Scholarship.
The recipients are:
Grant Brautigam, from New Bremen, who plans to attend Ohio Northern University and major in mechanical engineering with a concentration in aerospace.
Nathan Kaiser, from Coldwater, who plans to attend Wright State University Lake Campus and major in mechanical engineering
Aaron Oakley, from St Henry, who plans to attend University of Dayton and major in mechanical engineering/Aerospace
Jacob Overman, from Coldwater who plans to attend Rhodes State University and major in mechanical engineering.
Michael Schoenherr, from Coldwater, who plans to attend the Wright State University Lake Campus and major in mechanical engineering.

Ross Weigel, from Coldwater, who plans to attend Wright State Lake University Lake Campus and major in mechanical engineering.
Tri Star’s one-year engineering program is taught by Keith Westrick.
Funds for the Haas Foundation Scholarships are provided by the Gene Haas Foundation to career technical schools for the purpose of promoting machining and engineering programs. Scholarships are awarded to students who are furthering their education in the manufacturing sector.
