Animal Health Students Learn About Meat Processing
Senior Animal Health students are currently studying meat science. Today the lesson was on how to process beef properly including how to mix the appropriate amount of fat with muscle content as well as the grinding process. The beef that was processed today was a steer that the students had class raised from a calf in the Animal Science class. Please note that the meat is not for resale.
