At Tri Star, program collaborations are important. Tri Star's engineering technology instructor, Taylor Crum and precision machining instructor, Mitch Knous, recently coordinated a lesson between the two programs for the benefit of their students. Juniors from each program were paired together so they could teach each other the processes they use in their respective programs. In the real work world, both engineers and machinists work together to solve problems and create the products we use every day. For Tri Star students, learning from each other helps them understand how the two career fields coordinate and utilize their skill sets.
